Of calves and steers...

Guess what?! A friend of mine asked me to come help her castrate her bull calves tomorrow night. I'm just going to hold them because I've never done it but I'm willing to learn and I'm SO excited about it! "It's gonna be a good day Tater!"

    I had a baby bull calf and I bought a tool that stretched a rubber band aroung the testicles and they eventually fell off, sounds really gross but it worked just fine. I have never done calves but I did baby piggies in my kitchen, it is a good skill to have. I love the fact that you get excited about such a thing, I would too.
