It's a great day to be a duck!

No, this is not a beautiful little stream near my home, it is my driveway! It's raining like crazy here and running through my driveway like bulls through the streets of Pamplona! I've got to keep an eye on it because it's not supposed to stop for a while and one winter it flooded out the barn. Not good, not good at all.

  1. I so sympathize with you, hope it stops or has already stopped for you. Nothing worse then having to deal with Mud in your animal pens.

  2. I went out and took a picture of my ducks because at the time we had gotten 4 inches of snow and they just won't come out of it. You can't see their feet when they walk and it looks like they are swimming on snow. We are getting lots of snow, hope the rain stops for you before it gets in the barn.

  3. Still raining and more on the way, I'm just really glad it's not snow and I'll just dig a moat around the farm... ;-) The year it was really badly flooded I had water running across the concrete isle between the rows of stalls, it was awful!

CONGRATS on your babies Laura, that's SO exciting! I cannot wait to see pics!

So what's the view from your world about that? I'd enjoy hearing it.
