Our Nubian Herd - for now

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture! Was out enjoying the sunshine, my kids and my barnyard this afternoon, camera in hand, and just happened to get this shot and I'm so pleased!! This is our Nubian dairy herd, until the spring when we should have at least one doe kid! Have I mentioned I'm excited about that?! Or that I'm really looking forward to Spring?!

  4. I LOVE that picture. It's PERFECT! And I, too, live vicariously through your life with goats, since I cannot raise them in town. Chickens I can get away with, but not goats. SUCH a cute picture!

  6. I just reserved my first dairy goats today ~ Nigerian Dwarf Does. They are two hours away and I can't wait to go get them. I wish all this snow would melt so I can get the pen up. Will breed them in April for fall kids. So, I share your excitement!

So what's the view from your world about that? I'd enjoy hearing it.
