The only thing that make this recent cold snap tolerable is the fact that because our woodstove is roaring we get to make redneck s'mores!

Want that picture enlarged so we can put it one of my walls inside my house...or maybe have a printed blanket made out of that photo...great shot! YUMMY...melted chocolate on anything..really too much info here...is a good thing! ~YUM~

I was instantly drawn to the post title - Redneck S'mores!! - but I think I'm being a bit dim. Is there a recipe or are you heating the marshmallow in your wood stove then making s'mores? I don't want to miss out if there's a trick to making the perfect s'more. Do tell!

Nope no trick, just a marshmellow being toasted over the coals of a woodstove fire. as opposed to a bonfire! Just a wee bit of crazy here! But the kids loved it!

Oh! We do this too! A few years ago, I had a friend that does blacksmithing make some marshmallow cookers for us. They hang by the stove. Stove Smores are the best!
