Very easy to do. Plant it in the fall, before the last frost, harvest in the summer. Keep relatively weed free, (truth be told last year the weeds won that battle!) and feed if needed, they, like onions are heave feeders. And viola' garlic, (some of which was as big as the palm of my hand) and no more imported garlic!
