Thank you for sharing that program. Even in the late 70's through the 90's when my boys were in school, I didn't think much of the school lunch program but at least everything was cooked on site. I made their lunches most of the time. I don't know if the schools in Maine are using a lot of premade/packaged stuff, who can call it food, but probably. It is no wonder that childhood type 2 diabetes is so rampant. Do you suppose agribusiness has a hand in this via lobbyists?
