music to my ears!

Maple syrup season starts today!
Bridger took on the role of supervisor this year...
...he was about as much help as any supervisor ever is...

  3. Yummmm... and looks like you have a great superviser. I read something once that I could actually tap our maples here on the Oregon Coast and get something similar to real maple syrup. I wonder if I should be brave and try it. I love maple syrup but it is so expensive here in Oregon, and I'm allergic to corn syrup, so I try not to buy the store "pancake syrup"...

  4. I don't have enough soil depth for them. The glacier dropped rocks but no soil.

  5. Aw that stinks doglady.

Ruth, I'd try it and see, I'm like that and often think why not?! I don't know if there would be a difference in the sugar content, likely but not sure. And as far as the "pancake syrup" sold in stores, that isn't fit for human consumption! Pure Maple Syrup is the only was to go and worth the money.

So what's the view from your world about that? I'd enjoy hearing it.
